Oxfam Charity Day

Once a year at Marks and Spencer we get to go out on a charity day to a charity of our choice and volunteer for the day. One of the other stylists and I decided to visit Oxfam in St Albans to help out with their in store visuals. M & S work a lot with Oxfam and donate a lot of unwanted clothes to them and also run the Shwopping campaign with them so it seemed a good idea to go and help out.
When we arrived they seemed really eager for us to help redress their windows. As store windows are what entice people inside they really wanted more of a wow factor with theirs. They asked for a formal theme as a lot of people don't realise that Oxfam sell wedding and formal attire. They sell it mainly online but they just wanted to create awareness so we decided on a wedding window so mannequins and then a formal accessories window next to it to show a full range.

After

They were really happy with the outcome and so were we and items were selling from the windows before we had even finished so that was really great and they even invited us back to help again which was a real compliment.
